Welcome to the world... fry # 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8! ;) ... 9 and 10! The small orange circles show where the fry are..... There are a couple hiding out in the greenery... but there are 10, I'm pretty sure!
I guess another one of my fish had babies....... it's the ciiiiircle of liiiiiife.....

... it's the song running through my head at the moment. dp and i were sitting in our living room talking, and the next thing i knew, i saw them: i have fry!!!  (better known as baby fish-- guppies in this case) it must have happened earlier today while i was out, cause i only found 3 babies still alive (mom tends to get hungry after she gives birth... sad). and i'm pretty sure she was still pregnant this morning. but! i managed to save them and put them in our floating breeder cage.. so now, i have 3 fish babies!! exciting. now i've seen fish births and fish deaths.. the complete circle. yay!
so you can see how teeny these fry are compared to the mom's head in the lower right corner. the fry (2) are hanging out at the bottom of the plastic container on the left. they kinda look like tan smudges.

| last week, while at camp with Harvard and MIT, one of the Harvard students mistaken me for a MIT senior!! HAHAHA... she was even floored that i was a staffworker. then derek chimed in that i'm his team leader, and she almost DIED. in her defense, she claimed i have a "youthful look". i wonder what that means.... do i dress too much like a college student? not care enough about my looks like many too-busy MIT students? or maybe i just need to wear a grouchier, "older" look on my face??  either way... i think i'm flattered.
